Software Requirements:

Server Operating Systems:

  • Windows 2003 Server
  • Windows 2008 Server
  • Internet Information Services (IIS) 5.X/6.0/7.0
  • MS SQL Server 2008

Client Operating Systems:

  • Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8

Technical Assistance:

Technical support is offered through annual service contracts. Technicians are available to provide professional installation, training and customization of the FAMS software. A fee will be charged for this service.

Warranty Information:

Fayette County Community Action Agency, Inc. warrants that the FAMS software will perform substantially in accordance with written materials for a period of 90 days from receipt of the software. Any implied warranties on FAMS software are limited to 90 days, if applicable in your state.

If FAMS software does not meet Fayette County Community Action Agency, Inc.'s warranty, the user may request to receive the amount paid or repair/replacement of the FAMS software. The warranty is void if failure has resulted from accident, abuse or misapplication.

Fayette County Community Action Agency, Inc. disclaims any other warranties, express or implied.

In no event shall Fayette County Community Action Agency, Inc. or its suppliers be liable for any damagae arising out of the use of or inability to use this product

Licensing Agreement:

Fayette County Community Action Agency, Inc. will sell one copy of FAMS software to the user and permits the user to use this copy on computers owned and operated by the user. Installation on a network server for the purpose of internal distribution is permitted under this agreement.

The FAMS software is owned by Fayette County Community Action Agency, Inc. and is protected by United States copyright laws. The user may make one backup for archival purposes or may transfer the FAMS software to any hard disk provided all copies are used solely by the purchasing organization. Written materials accompanying FAMS software may not be copied for use outside of the user's network.

Service Agreement:

Fayette County Community Action Agency, Inc. will make Service Agreements available on an annual basis.

Service Agreements include Unlimited Phone and/or On-line Technical Support for the duration of the agreement. Service professionals will be available to provide technical assistance Monday through Friday from 8:30 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. Service calls during non-traditional hours will be scheduled as needed.

In addition to the responsive and reliable technical assistance provided under the service agreement, holders of these agreements are also entitled to all upgrades within the release version.
